From one side of the camera to the other.

Growing up showing livestock, I was no stranger to being photographed. My interest was sparked when I saw candid photos of families at the livestock shows I attended throughout my childhood. A hug between a father and daughter, a mother cheering on her son from outside the ring, the tears running down a child's face after she got the champion handshake. I admired how beautiful these little moments were and how special it was for a photographer to have caught a split second in time that would otherwise have been gone forever. Growing up human, I also was no stranger to insecurities. When I started taking graduation photos, I quickly realized that all of my beautiful subjects also struggled with insecurities. It wasn't enough to just go through the motions for each photoshoot and expect these wonderful people to look back at their galleries and feel beautiful. I wanted them to have an experience that made them feel as wonderful, too. That is why it is my commitment to take the time to get to know my clients, their insecurities, and their wants and needs so that I can make them as comfortable as possible and deliver the best results.
